Complete Tour About Employer Accreditation

Are you interested in applying for New Zealand Accredited Work Visa? But are you perplexed and have concerns regarding the procedure and documentation? Advice from friends and acquaintances may not be helpful in this situation. Therefore, seeking assistance from an immigration consultant is advised. Zealand Immigration is here to simplify the challenging procedure. We offer you the complete knowledge about the New Zealand AEWV in this blog. Let's take a tour:

What Do You Mean By Accreditation for Employers?
An accredited employer is a business that Immigration New Zealand has formally allowed and acknowledged to hire migrant employees.

Why Should Employers From New Zealand Apply For Accreditation?
Employers in New Zealand must obtain accreditation from INZ to hire foreign labor. It is done to make sure all requirements are met, such as that the company is legitimate, compliant, and dedicated to resettling migrants and minimizing exploitation.

What Is An Accredited Employer Work Visa?
It is a new temporary work visa that came in existence from July 4, 2022. This visa category gradually replaced six existing temporary work visas with a single, simplified visa application process. As a result, firms must be authorized to hire migrant employees under the new visa category.

When May Employers Submit an Accreditation Request?
It started on May 9, 2022, and employers have been applying for accreditation.

What Is The 3- Step Visa Application Process?

  • Step 1: Get Accredited:- Any employer who wishes to use the AEWV to hire migrant employees must get accredited. Even if an employer has already been accredited under the old system, they will still need to apply for accreditation because this is a new accreditation. The number of migrant employees who must be hired each year will determine the accreditation level.

  • Step 2: The Job Check:- A job check is conducted for each position a company intends to fill with migrant workers after receiving accreditation. Only after the job check has been successful may a migrant worker be hired for an AEWV. If a candidate for a migrant job is not employed, the employer may offer the position to another qualified applicant without having to do another job verification.

  • Step 3: Check Migrant Worker:- A migrant worker must be in good physical and mental health, meet character requirements, and have the skills and information required by the employment check.
